Countdown to School: Day 9

I took the kids to the dollar store today. They each chose a bag of plastic men, Roman's were blue policemen and Hayden's were red firemen. They match perfectly with Hayden's previous dollar store purchase of green army men, so now we have like a million little toys scattered all over the floor. And just so you know, Hayden was a little disappointed that the firemen were holding firehoses while Roman's policemen had guns.

We were going to go to the nickle arcade, but the boys saw McDonalds and decided they'd rather go there instead. And since they already got toys, it was easy to talk them out of Happy Meals. We just shared a 2 cheeseburger meal, which makes going to McD's a whole lot cheaper.

Aubrey loved "byes"...or fries. Whatever. It's what she yells when she sees the Golden Arches.

I love that Hayden totally read the sign. And then continued to climb. Story of my life.
