A Family of Cupcakes

I got this idea from a cupcake cookbook I have, it had a tutorial for making faces and I thought that making a self-portrait cupcake would be a fun FHE idea. And it was! The kids had a blast using cereal, licorice, candy, and sprinkles to make their faces. Even Nana got in on the action and made a Nana & Papa cupcake duo.

Nana helped Aubrey mostly because all Aubrey wanted to do was eat the cupcake.


Ignore the wolf ears. They boys wear them at the strangest times.

Aubrey's is so realistic I almost can't tell the cupcake from the cute girl!

I'm assuming all those confetti dots represent Hayden's freckles? And he has green hair :)

Roman's, which is quite plain, except with green hair. I think he was hoping that if he didn't take too long making it, he could possibly eat it quicker?

Mommy and Daddy Cupcake. With correct eye color and pretty accurate hair :)

Nana Cupcake. She has a tiny nose :) She later made one for Papa with Cocoa Krispies and coconut for the hair!
