Carnival & camping

So I'm still in the process of updating my blog, I'll admit this post is two months past due - sorry! Things have been busy!

We took the kids to the Idlewild Carnival. It's the elementary school down the street from my parents house, the same school we attended when we were little. The carnival has been a tradition for years, and finally we were in town to attend!

The kids wanted to play every. single. game. Luckily we had enough tickets and Aubrey only wanted to play a select few. I think she was just as happy eating all the cotton candy.

Did I mention that there were bouncy houses, slides, etc there? The kids were in heaven! Cheap prizes, candy, soda, and bouncy houses? How did they survive before this?

That evening, Jeremiah took the boys with Adam and Jack and Bryan and Rix to a father-son campout, except they didn't spend the night. They went for the smores, the swings, and the program that evening. As a side note, Carissa and I used the rest of our tickets on bingo. Didn't win anything but we had fun!

The church rec property has these buckets that have been suspended on rope for swings. I really want to try one of these, I wonder what the weight limit is :)

I love that you got pictures of the Father Son campout! Adam took a camera and didn't take any pics. So cute!

Oh the amazing school carnivals of Washington state elementary schools! I miss them. I am trying to get Raine's school to start doing one like this but it takes years of adding to the equipment/games and volunteers aren't exactly falling out of the woodwork here. Looks like you all had a blast!

Oooh! I like your new blog design! Very cute! And I can't believe how much I've missed lately. I've been terrible at checking blogs!

I love the birthday parties--great job! You're such a fun mom! And the pirate one looked hilarious. I'll have to call you for advice from now on!!

Miss ya and love ya and hope to see ya next week!
