We got the go-ahead from Dr. Clayton to put Roman in a forward-facing carseat on June 18 but it took us awhile to actually get a new carseat, so he patiently (well, not so patiently) endured his baby carseat for a few additional weeks. My inlaws graciously gave us their forward-facing carseat which saved us a lot of money, and I think Roman's love for them grew because, as you can see on his face, he adores his new carseat. He was all giggles for the first few minutes and loves to play with the armrests. I'm sure he felt like such a big boy, and maybe now he won't cry when we have to drive somewhere!
Oh and a quick shout out to Rix, Happy Birthday my crazy crazy nephew! Hope you had fun at "burgerfries" and I totally have your birthday present, I didn't forget about you, I'm just bringing it with me next week. I love you!

I can't believe its been a year! It doesn't seem that long ago that you had him and Jeremiah skipped out on you to watch Nacho Libre! So do you have an exact date on your move? Good luck!

I can't believe he loves his car seat so much! Maybe I'll fly Bryce out to Utah and Roman out to Washington, and then drive with Roman to Utah instead of with Bryce. He hates his car seat with a passion (you will probably experience this intense hatred when you come to Washington.) Roman is so dang cute!!! I can't wait to see you in like 5 days!
Stina-don't think a booster is in the works for a while, that would require Hayden to gain some weight! And no, Des, Hayden wasn't excited for Roman because the carseat is the one the inlaws used for Hayden when they watched him, so to him its HIS carseat...I guess he still needs to learn to share?
