My baby girl is 4 months old! Time flies, huh? So I took Aubrey in to the doctor's this morning for her well-baby visit. Get this...she weighs 17.6 lbs!!! She's almost heavy enough for a forward-facing carseat and she still has 8 months to go! She's in the 97% for her weight which made me laugh because that means that only 3% of babies are heavier than my daughter!!! She is half the weight of Hayden...you know, my 4-year-old! The doctor even checked other signs of a thyroid condition just to be sure. I just think there's more of her to love!!!
Other than her chunkiness, which I love, Aubrey is great. She usually falls asleep around 9pm (except for her random nights when she prefers to hang out with me until midnight, much to my dismay) and wakes up around 5am or so to eat, and then sleeps until 8 or 9am. She always wakes up with the biggest smile on her face! She's learned to love her bath and her binky, which she pulls out of her mouth and in its place plugs in her fist. I thought she was teething until the doctor told me otherwise. Aubrey always has something in her mouth (binky, fist, blanket...my hair...). She is ticklish and laughs when we bonk noses together.

Aubrey in her Bumbo (thanks Jen!). Sadly, Hayden also fits nicely into this seat, and at least his thighs don't get stuck. But she loves this chair for at least 10 minutes, which lets me get some stuff done.
I finally put her exersaucer together that we got on clearance at Target (love that store!). The towels were the first thing I found to help her little Hjelm legs reach. I think the boys love her in this toy more than she loves her in this toy, they bounce her and play with the toys and basically overstimulate her and she cries. And I love that this picture shows her peacock hair.

What a sweet baby girl! Glad I'm not the only one with a super chunk baby! Spencer weighed in at 17lbs 14 oz at his 4 month!!!! My other two were tiny little twerps and then this massive boy. He's a lot happier than the other two were - maybe from his jolly little belly. :) Love the pics!

She is adorable. I love chunky babies. I mean, hello, I have Jack who was around 17-ish lbs at 4 months. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. It just seems like yesterday that she was born!
She is too cute! I love her fluffy hair! Reminds me of a little bird. Chirp! How can you resist her? If she was close by, I'd be kissing her cheeks all day! Give her a squeeze for me!
I think she is so adorable! I want to kiss her big cheeks! I am so jealous of mom and dad who get to see you all this weekend. And also, just think of those arm muscles you are getting from carrying her around :)
I can't believe how big she is! I had the same problem with Kalli in the bumbo I could hardly get her out! She is just too sweet, chunkiness and all!
